Dr. Alexander H. Chan received his DDS degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry at Chicago in 1978. Additionally, he completed an advanced education program in Fixed Prosthodontics at the University of Illinois in 1980. Dr. Chan has been practicing all aspects of restorative, esthetic and implant dentistry including complex full mouth rehabilitation. Besides private practice, Dr. Chan has maintained an academic appointment in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry as a Clinical Associate Professor and is a faculty member of the Advanced Prosthodontics Program at the College. Dr. Alexander H. Chan is an active member of the American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontists, American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, Illinois State Dental Society and Chicago Dental Society.

Dr. Vito P. LaSusa attended Loyola University of Chicago where he received a bachelor’s degree in Biology. He then began his formal dental training at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. He graduated from dental school in 1997 with honors and was inducted into the highly coveted national dental honors society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. After dental school, Dr. LaSusa attended a three-year postgraduate residency in Advanced Prosthodontics at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. During that time, Dr. LaSusa received advanced formal training in complex full mouth oral rehabilitation, digital dentistry, as well as implant surgery and restoration. Dr. LaSusa has also held a faculty appointment in the UIC College of Dentistry where he served as a Clinical Associate Professor working alongside residents in the Advanced Prosthodontics Residency Program. His responsibility was to train residents how to learn reconstructive dentistry utilizing the most complex therapy approaches such as three-dimensional digital technology for diagnosis, planning, and restoration with dental implants. Dr. LaSusa holds memberships in numerous professional organizations including, the American Dental Association, American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, American College of Prosthodontists, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Chapter of the Seattle Study Club. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. LaSusa enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, being outdoors, and traveling.

Dr. Christopher Chan attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana where he was a member of the Edmund James Scholar honors program. He received a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and a minor in the Spanish languages. He then received his formal dental training from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. After receiving his dental degree, he completed a three year postgraduate specialty training in Advanced Prosthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. During that time, Dr. Chan received formal training in complex full mouth oral rehabilitation, digital dentistry, as well as implant surgery and restoration. In addition to time spent in private practice, Dr. Chan also holds a faculty appointment in the UIC College of Dentistry and serves currently as a Clinical Associate Professor working alongside DMD students with their training in clinical patient care. During his tenure in academics, Dr. Chan’s research has been published in the Journal of Prosthodontics. Dr. Chan is dedicated to continuing education and is an active member of the Seattle Study Club as well as the Spear Study Group. Dr. Chan is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, American College of Prosthodontists, Chicago Dental Society, and Illinois State Dental Society. When not in the office, Dr. Chan enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children.

Dr. Prieto graduated from the University of Michigan before ultimately earning his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Then, he completed a three-year residency program at the University of Illinois at Chicago, earning his specialty certificate in prosthodontics. During this residency, he gained experience in handling complex full mouth rehabilitation cases, esthetic cases, and placing and restoring implants. Always willing to learn, Dr. Prieto is an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and SPEAR Education. While Dr. Prieto certainly loves the science and artistry that goes into dentistry, he says that his favorite part of his job is getting to know his dental patients. He says that everyone he treats is 100% unique and building a rapport with them is always very rewarding. Dr. Prieto is originally from the Midwest, and he and his parents as well as his younger siblings try to get together as often as possible. In his free time, he likes to DJ and mix music it allows him to express his creative side. He hopes to play at a live venue at some point! He also stays active and plays soccer in various leagues around the Chicago area.
